Every year, the Virginia Art Therapy Association hosts a juried art exhibition. We put out a call for artists in late summer/early fall and the opening reception takes place in conjunction with our Biannual Membership Meeting in November/December. We know that when we create art, we are better art therapists; and this is an opportunity to share our experiences with one another, all while earning 10 CECs for our art therapy credentials. VATA members receive a discount on entry fees and any fees collected go towards hosting our opening reception and securing a judge.
